Building 452, the Bath House, has been determined eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places under Criteria A and C. Building 452 was built in 1937 during a period of facility expansion and improvements undertaken by Fort Sam Houston during the interwar period (1920-1939). Located in the New Post area, Building 452 was a contributing member of a potential National Historic Landmark district.
