The Department of the Army, Fort Sam Houston, has determined that an undertaking to demolish buildings 2399, 252, and 239 will have an adverse effect on properties that are eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places, and has consulted with the Texas State Historic Preservation Officer, in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, 16 U.S.C.470 (f), its implementing regulations (36 CAR Part 800), and the Programmatic Agreement executed August 29, 1996, among FSH, the SHPO, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, and interested persons.
