An Archaeological Curation-Needs Assessment for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base

Summary

Archaeological materials recovered from Wright-Paterson Air Force Base were examined by personnel from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District during March 1996. These collections are held at the U.S. Army Construction and Engineering Research Laboratory in Champaign, Illinois, and the Great Lakes Archaeological Research Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In total, these collections comprise approximately 12 ft³ of artifacts and less than 1.4 linear feet of associated documentation. Collections at both repositories require at least partial rehabilitation to comply with federal regulations.
