Summary

During an experimental seminar in Murlo, Italy, in August 1993, the following techniques were demonstrated: the ancient repair methods of casting faults with small bronze plates, assemblage of statue components using the casting-on technique, and artificial patination to produce a black and shiny surface on bronze objects.
