Summary
This report presents the results of the Section 110 inventory and National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) evaluation of cultural resources on U.S. Army Corps of engineers (USACE) fee-title land along the Columbia and Snake Rivers associated with Lower Granite Dam, Little Goose Dam, Mill Creek Dam, Lower Monumental Dam, Ice Harbor Dam, and McNary Dam.
A literature overview was conducted for 29 parks within the aforementioned project lands. Additionally, intensive survey was completed for Leslie Grove Park, Howard Amon Park, Two Rivers Park, Sand Station, Warehouse Beach, and Spillway Park and West Park along the Columbia River and Charbonneau Park along the Snake River.
NRHP evaluation and spatial data is provided for revisited sites at Leslie Grove and Howard Amon Parks, as well as one newly discovered site at Two Rivers Park, and two newly recorded sites at Warehouse Beach. This ARRA funded Task Order employed 53 specialists.
