This third number in the Center for Archaeological Research’s Special Report series contains two papers dealing with Paleo-Indian archaeology in Texas. The first, by Thomas R. Hester, is “Late Pleistocene Aboriginal Adaptations in Texas,” the second paper is “Late Pleistocene Archaeological Remains from the Johnston-Heller Site, Texas Coastal Plain.” A second printing occurred in 1978.
