Year: 2012

Summary

The draft and final for a plaque commemorating the Prisoners of War Missing in Action, titled: POW MIA.

This marker gives special honor to those who have endured being held prisoner and who are still missing and unaccounted for. It also honors the families and loved ones of those missing – throughout our history – who also have endured the anguish of not knowing the status of their missing. We will always remember and continue the search for those still missing. This is the commitment of a grateful nation: never to be forgotten.
