Kelly 2020: A Presentation of the Kelly Air Force Base Development and Facilities Improvement Plan
Year: 2016
Summary
Kelly 2020 is extracted from the Kelly Air Force Base Comprehensive Plan. Its purpose is to provide commanders and other key officials and decision-makers with an abbreviated and succinct presentation of the long-range strategy for base land use and facilities development. In addition to presenting a broad overview of Kelly’s future growth, it is expected that the information in this document will provide a context in which to make daily decisions so that a concerted, directed development and improvement effort can be established and maintained. This will allow for responsive mission support utilizing common objectives and enhancing the quality of life for base personnel.
Kelly 2020 is also visualized as a "marketing tool" to keep commanders, decision-makers, and elected officials informed of base requirements. This awareness will result in a sound investment of resources which will lead Kelly along an orderly development path into the twenty-first century.
