Summary
On September 28, 1988, Regional Environmental Consultants (RECON) conducted an archaeological survey of a proposed Salt River Project substation site in Chandler, Arizona. The proposed substation site is located within a parcel of land on the south side of Ocotillo Road, .25 miles east of Arizona Avenue. Prior to the field survey, an archaeological background file search was conducted at the State Historic Preservation Office, Arizona State Parks and Recreation Department, Phoenix, Arizona, and Pueblo Grande Museum. No sites were recorded within the study area.
