Summary
On December 14, 1987, Regional Environmental Consultants (RECON) conducted archaeological surveys of two proposed Salt River Project substation sites, the Seaton/Farnsworth and Spurlock Substations. The Seaton/Farnsworth site is located along Southern Avenue just west of Signal Butte Road in Mesa, Arizona, and the Spurlock site is situated in an undeveloped area about 0.25 mile north and east of U.S. Highway 89, approximately 6.5 miles east-southeast of Apache Junction, Arizona. This report describes the results of these surveys.
