On February 9, 1989, Regional Environmental Consultants (RECON) conducted an archaeological survey on the proposed McCoy Substation site in Mesa, Arizona. Prior to the survey, an archaeological background files search was conducted at the State Historic Preservation Office, Arizona State Parks and Recreation Department, Phoenix, Arizona. No sites were recorded within the study area.
