Summary

This preliminary report documents archaeological investigations at site NA 15, 721. The investigations were conducted under a contract with the Salt River Project (SRP). The project was administered by Donald E. Weaver, Jr., Museum of Northern Arizona (MNA), Bettina H. Rosenberg, SRP, and Charles Miller, U. S. Forest Service. Fieldwork, under the supervision of Ronald K. Yablon, MNA, was conducted between January 3 and 12, 1979. Thomas H. Caldwell and Cheryl L. Taylor assisted. All investigations were conducted in compliance with the Cultural Resource Plan for the Coronado Project (1978).

NA 15, 721 was located and recorded by a MNA crew during a survey of the proposed Silverking to Kyrene, East End Transmission Line (Yablon, 1978). It was described as a low density artifact scatter composed almost entirely of lithics. No habitation units were present. A possible water control feature was recorded in the northeast portion of the site.
