During the last few months the Texas Historical Commission has received several letters and held discussions with Fort Sam Houston’s staff regarding proposed demolition of historic resources at Fort Sam Houston. On April 14, a meeting was convened to bring together interested parties and broaden the discourse on that topic. This letter is written by the Commission in response to Fort Sam Houston’s correspondence and recent meeting.
