Summary

Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, is proposing an undertaking to rehabilitate building 134. Constructed in 1905 as troop barracks, the building has long been used as administrative space. Building 134 is a property eligible for the National Register of Historic Places and is within Fort Sam Houston’s National Historic Landmark District.

After careful examination of this proposal, the JB-SA Cultural Resource Staff has determined this undertaking will result in no adverse effect and the rehabilitation of this facility will assure its long term use and utility.
