Summary
This report is a Maryland Inventory of Historic Properties Archeological Site Survey, Basic Data Report for the site T13, 18CH225. This site is located on the east side of Cedar Point Neck, about 200m northwest of the Potomac River. A marshy unnamed tributary of the river lies 150m to the northwest. The site lies in a disced firebreak and is bisected by a road.
This prehistoric lithic scatter contains quartz and quartzite debitage, chunks, and bifaces. It has been disced and also bisected by a road. The site appears to be confined to plowzone. One quartz stemmed projectile point was observed, suggesting a Late Archaic occupation.
