Cultural Resources Survey Associated with the Beddown of Tactical Air Support Squadron , Nellis Air Force Base, Clark County, Nevada; Project Number 02-2016-NAFB
Summary
The Proposed Action is to utilize excess F-16s as a result of the introduction of F-35As from HIII Air Force Base (AFB) and standup and the Tactical Air Support Squadron (TASS), while introducing the Close Air Support (CAS) Integration Group (CIG) as a named activity in the 57th Operating Group (57 OG), at NAFB. The 57 OG wIII be organizationally restructured to the 57 CIG and wIII reflect United States Air Force (USAF) emphasis on CAS and the USAF commitment to enhance and preserve the joint CAS culture to 2025 and beyond.
