Summary
The project is a proposed Nevada Bell fiber optic cable burial route, 51.2 miles in length by 25 feet in width. The route extends between Centel-owned underground facilities located at the corner of Ann Road and U.S. Highway 95 on the southeast, to just northeast of the junction of Mercury Road and US Highway 95 on the northwest, where the new service will enter the Nevada Test Site. In addition, a short stretch of line on BLM administered lands will reach from Nevada Bell's Specter Mountain repeater onto the Nevada Test Site.
