Summary

On behalf of Earth Tech and the Nellis Air Force Base (AFB), the Harry Reid Center for Environmental Studies, Marjorie Barrick Museum of Natural History, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, has completed a summary review of existing material pertinent to a proposed comparative rock art study on the Nellis Air Force Range (Nellis Range) and adjacent overflight area situated east of the Nellis Range. Representing the first of several reporting tasks, this report includes existing data relevant to regional and local rock art studies, effects of sonic booms on cultural resources, and Native American involvement in the project.
