Summary

Of the 64 resources, three Buildings—1039, 1045, and 1046—are recommended eligible under Criterion A based on their association with the World War II Army Air Force’s first flexible gunnery school and range (Building 1039), or its successor, the USAF Fighter Weapons School (Buildings 1045 and 1046). They are also recommended eligible under Criterion C as good representatives of a 1930s igloo design developed by the Office of the Quartermaster General, which was revised in late 1941 and again in early 1948.
