Summary

This report presents the results of a historic evaluation of three Cold War-era buildings at Seymour Johnson AR, North Carolina, The three buildings evaluated are: Building 5015 (Fighter-Interceptor Alert Hangar constructed in 1957), Building 2130 (Readiness Crew Building constructed in 1959), and Building 4828 (Dock, A/C Fuel System Maintenance [Wing Hangar], constructed in 1963. All three buildings meet the requirements of criteria consideration G for properties under 50 years of age and all three are recommended eligible for listing on the National Register under on the following basis: Building 5015 -- recommended eligible under Criteria A and C, and Criteria Consideration G; Building 2130— recommended eligible under Criteria A and C, and Criteria Consideration G; Building 4828.-. recommended eligible under Criteria A and C, and Criteria Consideration G.
