Summary

The Alaska Army National Guard (AKARNG), as administered by the Alaska Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs (DMVA), proposes to demolish nine Quonset hut buildings at Camp Carroll, Alaska. This action represents the type of activity with the potential to cause adverse effects to historic properties, assuming any historic properties are present. As a result and in accordance with federal laws and regulations, the DMV A is responsible for evaluating the eligibility of each building for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). This document includes that evaluation.
