Summary

The following report contains historical, architectural, and photographic documentation of Hangar C at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. USACERL personnel documented the complex in July 2000. Hangar C was the first permanent missile assembly building constructed at Cape Canaveral. It provided a service area for most of the early Air Force missiles tested and fired at Cape Canaveral. In addition, it served as the missile assembly building for Project Vanguard, the United States' first official satellite program.
