The primary purpose of this plan is to outline the installation's approach to maintaining long-term relationships with federally recognized tribes. This plan has been prepared in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 4710.02, DoD Interactions with Federally Recognized Tribes, and Air Force Instruction 90-2002 (AFI 90-2002) Air Force Interaction with Federally Recognized Tribes, which direct all echelons to build relationships and conduct consultation with federally recognized American Indian Tribes, Alaska Native Villages, and Native Hawaiian Organizations as required by federal laws and regulations,
