Year: 2003

Summary

On June 22 and 23, 2002, archaeologists from Geo-Marine, Inc., conducted limited subsurface integrity and damage assessments at three cultural resource sites (LA 66380, LA 133093, and LA 135619) located on Melrose Air Force Range (MAFR), New Mexico. The focus of this project was to determine the extent of damage sustained by military activities and other natural agents and subsurface integrity of each site. Due to the limited subsurface deposits and the overall lack of integrity found within the site areas, all three sites were recommended as not eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
