Summary
Two soil samples were submitted for AMS radiocarbon dating from Cosigüina Volcano,
Nicaragua. The client requested the samples be processed via the microcharcoal recovery and
radiocarbon pretreatment technique that were developed by PaleoResearch Institute. The client
estimated Sample COS–G–52 to be ca., 30,000 years old and Sample COS–H–68 to be ca.,
20,000 years old.
