Summary

Mariah Associates, Inc. completed a Class III cultural resource inventory of 5.8 acres on Kirtland Air Force Base, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The survey was requested by Mr. Patrick Joseph of Mountain States Constructors. The project encompassed approximately 5.8 acres for the proposed dumping of airport hardfill. The survey was conducted on September 17, 1993.

Cultural resources observed during the survey include only modern trash. The trash consisted of two metal can lids and one modem unidentified metal piece. Because no historic, prehistoric, or significant cultural resources were observed, clearance for the proposed undertaking is recommended.
