Summary

Mariah Associates, Inc. completed a Class III Cultural Resource Inventory for a proposed dumping area and access route related to Albuquerque International Airport construction, on Kirtland Air Force Base, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The survey was requested by Wayne Frasier of Mountain States Constructors, Inc. The project encompassed a five acre area for the dump. Clean cement and other construction materials will be deposited by truck and will be covered over with clean fill. Survey took place on May 5, 1993 by Wendy Jones Poague and Grace Hawkins of Mariah Associates, Inc. No cultural resources were observed during the survey. As a result, cultural resource clearance for the proposed undertaking is recommended.
