Summary

An archaeological inventory was completed on a 104-acre parcel of land located on Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Structures occupy approximately 60 acres of the total I 04-acre New Mexico Air National Guard (NMARNG) complex. The records search using the Archaeological Resources Management System (ARMS) at the New Mexico State Historic Preservation Division indicated that four archaeological surveys have been completed in the vicinity of the current project and that five known archaeological resources exist within a 1-mile radius of the proposed project site. No previously recorded sites are located within the current project area. No significant cultural resources were found during the archaeological inventory. Based on the results of the record search and the inventory survey, it is recommended that no further archaeological studies be completed.
