Summary
Letter report for a Phase I archaeological survey of approximately 27 acres in support of planned construction of water lines. The project area is located inside the industrial complex at Arnold AFB on the northeast corner of the intersection of Von Karman Road and North Hap Arnold Drive. The field inspection included a combination of subsurface and surface reconnaissance. No cultural material was found within the 8.5 acres that required actual survey work and the remaining areas (18.5 acres) within the 27 acre project area have either been developed/disturbed or have undergone previous survey efforts with negative findings.
