Summary of an archaeological investigation in support of a proposed emergency access road. Investigations included a review of the existing site records, pedestrian survey and visual inspection as well as shovel testing. Visual inspection and shovel testing produced evidence of a small Early Woodland site recorded as 40FR502. This site is recommended not eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
