Summary

The study is intended to comply with federal historic preservation mandates in determining whether the proposed construction of the United Space Booster Facility Tract on Merritt Island will have an effect on cultural resources eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places, or otherwise of national, state or local significance. No sites of significance were found on that part of the tract proposed for development and it is recommended that the project be cleared with respect to cultural resources.
