Determined eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places in a historical survey conducted in 2006-7 timeframe of the U.S. Space Shuttle Program facilities completed for NASA. The Rotation Processing & Surge Facility (RPSF) was one of twenty-six assets on the John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) that were determined individually eligible for the National Register for their role in the Space Shuttle Program (SSP).
