Summary

The Division of Historical Resources has entered into a Search Contract (E-101) with Reale Gold, Inc., and Galleon Artifacts Corp., both Florida corporations. This contract area is off the coast of north Brevard County, Florida, in the vicinity of Cape Canaveral, and is approximately 12 nautical miles long, 1 nautical mile wide at the north end, and 1 nautical mile wide at the south end, forming a triangle shape. Reale Gold, Inc., and Galleon Artifacts Corp. have agreed to work under the historical guide lines set forth by the State of Florida. The contract requires for Reale Gold, Inc./Galleon Artifacts Corp. to do a magnetometer survey to locate objects, vessels, or sites of potential prehistoric or historic significance.
