Summary

The Hangar M Annex is considered a contributing resource to a NASA owned CCAFS Industrial Area Historic District, which is eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places under Criterion A, in the area of Space Exploration and under Criterion C, in the area of Architecture. It contributes to the district under Criterion A for its association with NASA's Space Shuttle Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) management and materials testing laboratories, and under Criterion C as a representative example of International-style military architecture at CCAFS. The building retains all seven aspects of historic integrity.
