Summary
This ICRMP provides guidance for the effective and efficient management of cultural resources as required by AFI 32-7065, Cultural Resources Management and Department of Defense Instruction 4715.16, Cultural Resources Management, for the five-year period beginning in fiscal year 2018. This plan includes a summary of the history and prehistory of the base and reviews past survey efforts to identify archaeological resources, historic facilities, and other properties. It outlines and assigns responsibilities for the management of cultural resources and discusses standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Joint Base Andrews. It gives guidance and procedures regarding consultation and the care and management of cultural resources of Joint Base Andrews within the context of the base mission.
