Summary

Response from the Maryland Historical Trust (MDSHPO) regarding Andrews Air Force Base's proposed demolition projects in Housing District A (PG:77-68), Housing District B (PG:77-69), Housing District C (PG:77-70), and Housing District E (PG:77-71). After reviewing the Determinations of Eligibility (DOE) Forms on these Housing Districts, the Maryland Historical Trust has agreed these areas are ineligible for inclusion in National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) due to loss of integrity, and "because they do not fit within the Air Force's Cold-War significance criteria established in 1993. The Maryland Historic Trust concurs the plan to demolish the relevant 105 housing units will have no effect on historic properties.
