Summary
This plan is presented as three volumes. Volume 1 (prehistoric resources) and Volume 2 (historic resources) are overviews that describe and synthesize existing knowledge. They establish the contexts and framework for understanding and evaluating cultural resources specific to the Base and region. Volume 3 provides the management approaches for both prehistoric and historic period resources.
This is Volume 2 of the report which provides an overview of the historic cultural resources at Edwards AFB. The cultural context is based on archival research and literature search through documentation prepared for cultural resources projects completed at Edwards AFB. No new archaeological or architectural surveys were conducted for this project.
