Undated Appendix B on the National Register of Historic Places Eligibility Assessment for Riverside Heights.
To assess the NRHP eligibility of the public housing complexes, the Central Office building, and the Peterson Elementary School, onsite research and documentation was conducted January 10- 12, 2005. Historical data on the extant resources were collected from the Peterson Elementary School, the Montgomery County Independent School District, the Montgomery Housing Authority, the city of Montgomery, the Montgomery City-County Public Library, and the state of Alabama Department of Archives and History. The architectural assessment consisted of onsite inspection of the buildings, a review of drawings and plans, and photographic documentation. Informal interviews with members of the Montgomery Housing Authority and Peterson Elementary School also provided pertinent information
