In January 1994, the Center for Archaeological Research (CAR) of The University of Texas at San Antonio was contracted by the National Park Service to locate, evaluate, and report any prehistoric and historic cultural resources which might be affected by development of the Prime Beef-Prime Rib (PBPR) combat arms area at Lackland Air Force Base in southwestern San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
