Summary

Argonne National Laboratory conducted a historic facility inventory and evaluation on behalf of the United States Air Force at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Anchorage Borough, Alaska. The inventory and evaluation aids Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in managing the historic properties under its jurisdiction as required by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended. The inventory evaluated remaining portions of government-owned railroad and associated buildings on post. As a result of this study, it is recommended that none of the buildings or facilities evaluated be considered eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places as high potential historic sites or as high potential route segments.
