Letter from the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), Steve Turner History Colorado, to Mark S. Laudenslager Chief, Installation Management Flight 460th Civil Engineer Squadron Buckley Air Force Base regarding Installation of Five Telecommunications Facilities, Buckley Air Force Base, Arapahoe County. The SHPO partially concurs with Buckley AFB but requests further details, particularly: an evaluation of Building 850’s National Register eligibility and an assessment of direct effects caused by the construction of BCKLY-005; (2) An evaluation of visual effects caused by the construction of BCKLY-005 (as defined by the Nationwide Programmatic Agreement, the visual APE should be a ½ mile radius from the center of the proposed tower).
