Summary
In the fall and spring of 2018 HRA Inc., Conservation Archaeology (HRA) excavated three archaeological sites (42WS1802, 42WS1804, and 42WS4458) and the northern half of a fourth site (42WS1803). The work was conducted at the request of the State of Utah, School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA). The purpose of the investigations was to mitigate impacts to the sites related to the development of new housing. The sites are in the Sandy Talus/Sienna Hills Residential Development in Washington City in Washington County, Utah just west of I-15.
