Summary

This document is a Section 106 letter continuing consultation with California State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal project related to the Rail Garrison project at Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB). The letter is pursuant to a telephone conversation on 5 May 1988 and provides the archaeological plan for review by the SHPO. The letter indicates that the plan has also been submitted to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. It is also stated the clearance of ordnance disposal is required prior to continuing the construction associated with the Rail Garrison effort.
