Summary

Cape Cod Air Force Station’s (CCAFS) Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan (ICRMP) was prepared as required by Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 4715.3, Environmental Conservation Program, and AFI 32-7065. Each year the Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan (ICRMP) will be reviewed and updated to incorporate new information and activities. The Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan (ICRMP) serves as the long-term plan to accomplish the missions of the Cape Cod Air Force Station (CCAFS) cultural resource program and provides the following: General information including the site’s mission, physical setting, and historical perspective; organizational listing and roles; goals and objectives; and program responsibilities Information on the cultural resources inventory at Cape Cod Air Force Station (CCAFS) Compliance procedures including discussion of issues, preservation and mitigation strategies, and consultation procedures Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) The signed Programmatic Agreement (PA) between the AF and the State Historical Preservation Officers (SHPOs) regarding Pave (an Air Force program name) Phased-Array Warning System (PAWS) facilities.
