Summary
In February, 1988, June 4 to 8, 1990, and July 4, 1991, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers archeologist conducted an intensive archeological survey of a proposed sanitary landfill expansion-located on Holloman Air Force Base near Alamogordo, New Mexico. One archeological site, HAFB-Landfill-1, considered potentially eligible for inclusion to the National Register of Historic Places was located at the northern end of the proposed sanitary landfill expansion area.
