Summary
Sixty acres of the inventoried lands are administered by Holloman Air Force Base and the remaining ca. 840 acres are administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The survey areas are being considered for the location of a proposed wastewater treatment plant and associated disposal facilities. The intensive archeological survey resulted in the recording of three sites (LA 99444, LA 99445, LA 99446) of the prehistoric period and twenty isolated manifestations.
