Summary

Report and SHPO correspondence regarding the plan to simulate a C-141 airplane crash to test the reaction of various disaster response units on the base. Project activities will consist of scorching approximately 2 acres of range grass in a typical fan pattern and placing airplane debris and simulated munitions in the area. Casualties and smoke pots will also be placed in the area. Existing dirt roads will be used for access, with the potential for off-road vehicle use around the crash area and parking on the shoulders of the road.
