Summary

Between May and July 1996, Geo-Marine, Inc. (GMI) personnel conducted a Phase II archaeological evaluation of 45 archaeological sites on Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB) administered properties in the Tularosa Basin, Otero County, New Mexico. Fieldwork was directed by Mark Sale, GMI project archaeologist. This report outlines evaluation methodologies and provides National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility recommendations for the 23 prehistoric, four historic, 12 military, and six multicomponent sites included in this project.
