Summary
A Phase I archaeological survey on 3.81 miles of right of way along Hamilton Road in Alamogordo, New Mexico for replacement of an underground pipeline. This survey was conducted on behalf of Holloman Air Force Base (AFB), which is proposing to replace and upgrade the existing underground pipeline servicing Boles Wells. Boles Wells field is detached property belonging to Holloman AFB. While several lithic and ceramic isolated finds were observed, the survey indicated that the project area is too disturbed from recent development, road construction and pipeline placement to yield any artifacts or sites with potential to contribute significant information on local or regional research issues.
