Summary
An archaeological survey of 1,280 acres was conducted in Socorro County, New Mexico, on State of New Mexico and federal lands under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of the Army, White Sands Missile Range.
During the survey 8 sites and 78 isolated artifacts were recorded, of which 5 of the sites are considered significant. Archaeological clearance is recommended with the stipulation that the sites be avoided and protected from further impacts.
